The $200 Book Club

Since 2014 Baja Tours Mexico has been promoting reading and sports through the $200 Book Club

About the $200 Book Club Initiative

This small endeavour we started in 2014 benefits children in the Todos Santos area. All funds raised through this initiative are use exclusively for purchasing books, sports equipment and art supplies for local school. The primary school in Pescadero holds a special place in our hearts, where both Kevin (owner) and his wife Diana Rojas Salazar teach physical education and reading.

If you are not on our tours you can donate through the Lindsay Leigh Kimmett Memorial Foundation in Cochrane Alberta. We are now working with this Foundation in Cochrane Alberta. You can donate directly to them. We make the purchases and they reimburse us with your donation. Our administrative costs and wages are zero please Donate Today.

We hope to involve localresidents, ex-pats, and maybe even you. Come to the school and read with the children.

We hope that we can provide you or others the opportunity to do what we call direct donation. We will take you to the book store and you can help us buy books for a local school in the Baja. The first $50 per person that you donate to buying books will be matched by us, up to $100.
